Prostate is a walnut-sized gland underneath the urinary bladder of males. An enlarged prostate (e.g. cancer) can place pressure at the urethra causing various urinary problems, especially among older men. In 2000, a study shows that diabetic men with Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) have even greater urinary problems than non diabetic men with BPH.
