Scientists at the Australian Garvan Institute of Medical Research have finally reached a conclusion to the failure of insulin production in type 2 diabetes. Considered a breakthrough in diabetes research, they were successful in isolating the PKCepsilon (PKCe), an enzyme which present during diabetes aria slows down the production of insulin in type 2 diabetics.
