The incidence of chronic kidney disease is rapidly increasing worldwide, according to experts in the British Medical Journal (BMJ).
Researchers report that the annual incidence of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in the United Kingdom has doubled over the past decade and is now estimated at around 100 per 1 million of population.
