Kasubha is vertical branched, soft flowering plant growing up to 90 centimeters high whose flowers are orange-red and about a half inch in length. It was believed to be original from Egypt and was planted in the Philippines for dyeing purposes as its flowers yield a coloring principle, carthamin. Incidentally, Kasuba Flower dye from the flowers is used for coloring food.

If a woman has diabetes, there is a likelihood she will develop breast cancer later on.
A study in Sweden led by Dr. Hakan Olsson, a professor of oncology at Lund University, looked into the medical records of more than 2,700 patients with breast cancer and about 20,500 patients who never had cancer. The records analyzed spanned 10 years of the participants’ medical history prior to having breast cancer.
