A rich dessert that combines luscious white chocolate with the tangy strawberry sauce. You can use milk or dark chocolate if you prefer.
Yield: 6 to 8 portions
Ingredients:
- 500g spaghettini (or any pasta of your choice)
- 1/8 cup olive oil
- 1 head of broccoli, trimmed and cut into small florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red chili flakes (opt)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or cheddar)
- 1/8 cup pine nuts, toasted
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Procedures:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook pasta according to instructions, until it is al dente.
- Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat and sauté broccoli florets.
- Add garlic and chili flakes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the broccoli and combine well.
- Add the cheese and pine nuts.
- Add the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
