Spaghettini with Broccoli and Pine Nuts

A rich dessert that combines luscious white chocolate with the tangy strawberry sauce. You can use milk or dark chocolate if you prefer.

Yield: 6 to 8 portions


  • 500g spaghettini (or any pasta of your choice)
  • 1/8 cup olive oil
  • 1 head of broccoli, trimmed and cut into small florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes (opt)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or cheddar)
  • 1/8 cup pine nuts, toasted
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook pasta according to instructions, until it is al dente.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat and sauté broccoli florets.
  4. Add garlic and chili flakes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the broccoli and combine well.
  6. Add the cheese and pine nuts.
  7. Add the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
