Salmon Bake

This delicious baked dish is certain to please everyone in the family.  The gratin mixture on top makes for a crunchy bite that leaves everyone savoring for more.  It is quite difficult to believe that this dish can be prepared in no time at all.  Perfect for holidays and beyond.

Yield: 6

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 5 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 cup Fresh wheat
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecan nuts or any other available
  • 3 teaspoons freshly chopped parsley
  • 6 pieces salmon fillet
  • 6 pieces lemon wedge
  • salt and pepper

Procedures:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Combine mustard, butter and honey.  In another bowl, combine bread crumbs, nuts and parsley.
  3. Season salmon with salt and pepper.  Place on baking sheet.
  4. Brush with mustard mixture.  Top with bread crumb topping.
  5. Bake at least 20 minutes or until salmon flakes when tested.  Serve with lemon.
