Munggo or balatong, Mung beans is a popular vegetable food in the Philippines which is made into a viand or dessert. For one, it is a good source of Protein, Folate, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Copper, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber and Manganese.
