Mango Walnut Torte

A frozen delight that will please everyone, it is also quite easy to assemble. Â You can change the fruits and use other flavored yogurts if you prefer. Â If you don’t have a springform pan, line your pan with wax paper or aluminum foil for easier transfer once the torte is completely frozen.
Yield: 10 portions
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup walnuts, finely ground
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup artificial sweetener
- 1 cup low fat cream cheese
- 1 cup low fat cottage cheese
- 1 cup sugar free mango yogurt
- 3 piece mango fruit, sliced
Procedures:
- Combine 1/2 cup of walnuts with butter and 1/4 cup of artificial sweetener and mix well.
- Line bottom of an 8″ round springform pan with the walnut crust mixture.
- Beat cheese, 1/2 cup of artificial sweetener until smooth.
- Divide cheese mixture into 2. Â Combine 1 part with the mango yogurt and mix well. Â Set aside the other portion.
- Spread mango cheese mixture over walnut crust and freeze until firm (about 1 hour).
- Top with cheese mixture and freeze until firm (about 2 hours).
- Top with mango slices before serving. Â Alternatively, line walnut crust with mango slices before topping with cheese mixtures.
