Herbal Gallstone Solution

Gallstones are hardened cholesterol or any other mineral that accumulates in the bile often cause by excessive bilirubin. It can be as small as a grain of salt or as large as a golf ball. Gallstones cause pain especially when urinating or peeing because as the stone travel through the bile duct, it block or obstruct the duct that transports bile from the liver to the small intestine. The pain results from the building up or pressure or inflammation along the bile.

There are many herbal treatments for gallstones. For instance, dandelion and milk thistle contain taraxacin and silymarin respectively which stimulate bile production, which deceases the concentration of the gallstone. Oregon grape enhances blood flow and enhances bile production. Rosemary also stimulates bile production. The great thing about these medicinal herbs is that they can be steamed and eaten or taken as a tea.

A simple Herbal Gallstone Solution can be a mixture of Oregon grape root, dried dandelion leaves and peppermint plus water. There is no particular recommended gallstone solution that is most effective. One can concoct his own solution by combining different contents of the aforementioned herbs. In the Philippines, one can opt to add a turmeric herb such as ginger as well as coconut juice which cleanses the bladder.
