Heaty Fish Chowder

Make 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • Margarine 2 teaspoon
  • Onion, chopped 2 tablespoon
  • Celery, chopped 2 tablespoon
  • Potato, diced 1 small
  • Carrot, diced 1 small
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Fish fillet, fresh 1-2 pieces
  • whole milk 1 cup
  • Iodized salt 1/4 teaspoon
  • Pepper 1/4 teaspoon

Procedures:

  1. Melt margarine in saucepan and cook onion and celery until tender.
  2. Add potato, carrot, water, salt and pepper.
  3. Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or longer until vegetables are tender.
  4. Cut fish fillets into 1 1/2 inches (3 cm) cubes.
  5. Add fish to saucepan and cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. Cool slightly and blend in a blender.
  7. REturn to saucepan, add milk and reheat but do not boil.
