Going Bananas

Instead of frying saba like the typical Banana Q or Turon versions, try this healthy baked version that adds something different with more flavors and crunch to it

Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 pieces Saba, cut into quarters
  • 4 pieces large lumpia wrappers, cut into quarters
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon Splenda
  • 2 tablespoons crushed oatmeal

Procedures:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine cinnamon, vanilla, Splenda and oatmeal.
  3. Coat bananas with mixture and set aside.
  4. Wrap bananas in wrapper and place in baking pan.
  5. Bake for 15-30 minutes until wrapper turns golden brown
