Christmas Fruit Salad

What’s a holiday gathering without the requisite sweet ending that everybody craves for?  The good news is you can have your fill of sweets and eat it too.  Using yogurt and cheese adds just that balance of sweetness, tart and savory components in one bite.

Yield: 4 to 6 portions


  • 1/2 piece watermelon, cubed
  • 1/2 piece melon, seeds removed and cubed
  • 1/2 piece papaya, seeds removed and cubed
  • 2 pieces apple, cored and cubed
  • 2 cup fruit yogurt
  • 1/2 cup light cheese, grated


  1. Combine watermelon, melon and papaya with the fruit yogurt.
  2. Top with cheese and serve.
